For this year, I spent my New Years in Quebec City on assignment for Breakaway Tours. I started my trek to Quebec the day we received our first massive snowfall here in Montreal, so the drive was pretty treacherous. Here's a video from the highway at around noon:

While in Quebec, I was able to spend some time at the revamped Hotel Pur in downtown Quebec City as well as some time on Mont Saint-Anne. Aside from my time in Quebec City, I also traveled to Venise-en-Quebec in an attempt to really sink my teeth into the long awaited winter that had finally arrived. The following photos are from both of those excursions as well as a few shots of Montreal both before I left and after upon my return. This will be my last post before I give my website a brand new, comprehensive makeover - so enjoy the sights!
