Back in December of 2018 I was invited by my friend Robbie, CEO of Personal Villas, to link up in the Dominican Republic in order to create some photographic content for his business. We were to head from the airport to the city of La Romana, specifically to the world class luxury destination of Casa De Campo.
I had just come off a whirlwind of a trip from South Africa, to New York City and Philadelphia and then from Philly, back on a plane to the Dominican. I didn’t really know what to expect when I arrived but my goodness, was I ever blown away. Casa De Campo has it all and more! Caribbean beaches with turquoise water, an insane marina with impressive yachts, unbelievable golf courses, top of the line restaurants and a great deal of rich history. They even have a full fledged polo field and dude ranch with gorgeous horses.
It was a jam-packed two weeks and sure does feel great to finally get these photos out to the world. It’s always gratifying to revisit your older work and witness just how much you’ve grown your skillset over an extended period of time. It was a delight to experience such a place and I cannot wait for my next opportunity to visit and document this astounding destination.
